Trivia and Quotes:
In 2003, Sara sang the lead vocals live because Tegan didn't want to anymore.
According to this newsletter, Tegan and Sara planned to make a music video for this song, but it never happened.
Tegan has said that she wrote this song when she was 18 about how their mom bought them a wading pool after they graduated high school.
“I wrote it about my mom and she bought us a wading pool when we graduated high school. I'm sure we would have got a car if we were going to university, but when we said we're going to be musicians we got the wading pool so I guess it's better than getting kicked out of the house.” - Tegan in 2004
