Trivia:

  • The title Sainthood was inspired by Leonard Cohen's song Came So Far For Beauty. Tegan and Sara created a song together inspired by it titled Sainthood, using that song's lyrics, but they were unable to release the song as they did not receive permission for using Cohen's lyrics.

  • Demos for some of the songs were released as part of the Home Recordings.

  • The album on iTunes included 3 bonus tracks, Wrists and Light Up, and the pre-order included It Was Midnight.

  • The song Sheets was released as part of Paramore's 2010 Summer Tour EP.

  • The songs Has Passed and Prodigy were released as part of the movie It Remains Unsaid.
