Trivia:
-
Tegan has said that the title of this album comes from lyrics in a song that they have not released.
-
None of the original demos of the songs on this album have ever been released.
-
Re-releases of the album also included an updated version of the song And Darling (This Thing That Breaks My Heart), and that is the version of the song that is more well known and easily available. It is unknown when exactly the updated version was recorded, and why this change was made after the first release. You can listen to both versions below.
-
During this era they released many promotional singles and EPs that included songs not on the album such as Empty In Between, Come On Kids, and Missing You.
-
The song Come On Kids was also included as a bonus track to the album in some re-releases.
-
Tegan mentioned in this interview that they had the songs "Sirens" and "I Wanna Play Drums In Your Rock Band" that did not make the album.
